The route we take
From Milton Keynes we head down the M1 and round the western side of the M25, past Heathrow, then take the M23 at junction 7. It is roughly two thirds motorway at a steady speed. If the western M25 is jammed we will go round the east via the Dartford Crossing and we tell you before we do, because that adds the Dartford toll.

About 1 hour 50 minutes in normal traffic. For morning flights we usually suggest leaving a little earlier to allow for the M25.
